Now that Tiesto has a radio show, clothing line, an iOS app, and a record label, it only seems fitting that one of the world’s biggest DJs gets his own headphone line too. That’s just what’s going to happen in June, when Tiesto will launch his own headphone line of up to three different models with AKG, a high-end audio maker. Details are still scarce, but this looks to be Tijs’ answer to Beats Mixr, the popular addition to the Beats by Dre line designed by David Guetta. With campaigns like SHM x Absolut Greyhound and Avicii x Bud Light Platinum, EDM acts are getting serious about their branding and marketing — we’re excited to see what other developments are in store.
