Tiësto, Calvin Harris, Avicii, Diplo, Bono and more collaborate on compilation for World AIDS Day

Earlier this month we announced Tiësto’s planned partnership with global AIDS awareness brand (RED), and now, on November 27th, the Trance-god, turned fashionista, turned philanthropist, will be releasing DANCE (RED), SAVE LIVES. The compilation album features Calvin Harris, Avicii, Diplo, Laidback Luke, Martin Solveig and more, as well as an exclusive collaboration between Tiësto and Bono on U2’s “Pride.”  To accompany the album, there will be a livestream on December 1st from Australia’s Stereosonic festival in an effort to mobilize a global community in the fight against AIDS.

After visiting Africa in 2006, Tiësto was shocked by the devastation of HIV in local communities, and now, with the help of fellow electronic noise makers, plans to raise awareness for those without a voice.

“When I went to Africa in 2006, I was struck by the devastating effect of AIDS. Now the world has an incredible chance to make sure that babies are born HIV free by 2015, and the dance community is going to make a lot of noise to help make this happen.”

Be sure to tune in to www.youtube.com/joinred on December 1st and grab the compilation album when it drops on November 27th.
