Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg are constantly pushing the limits in their newest collaboration, “You Know.” Basslines approach the extent of their depth, as they pulse deeper and deeper, almost to the point where they lose their musicality. The build up lingers…and lingers on that last beat before the drop. And when that vocal hits, the whole mix explodes into a strangely beautiful cacophony between backing and lead. Beyer and Engberg have been adept at creating long, slowly developing pieces in the past. This might be their most textured, engaging work yet. The intriguing collaboration will be released on Truesoul on November 18th.
