Though the season of giving may have bled into the dreaded grey mass known as pre-festival season, The Bloody Beetroots‘ Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo has a little something to lighten the mood. Released as a free download is “Til Death,” his first original since Hide hit the shelves. Ostensibly about marriage, the tune also weds trap snare rolls and bass kicks to more elegant orchestral synth swells. Tying the elements together with Lisa Kekaula’s reverberating vocals, the song swoops from ballad to badass and back and shows once again that Sir Bob has studio time down to a science.
