Cashmere Cat releases ‘Wedding Bells’ EP
As electronic artists aim to advance and innovate their craft, we have Cashmere Cat to help move things along. After teasing his fans for the last couple weeks with snippets, the multi-skilled Norwegian producer released the four-track Wedding Bells EP on LuckyMe, his latest collective original project since October 2012. Showcasing the title track with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1, “Wedding Bells” embodies a lighter but cool downtempo bass, and the futuristic hip-hop and R&B essence attributed to the Cat. “Wedding Bells” utilizes an airy flute lead over a combination of piano and sitar-like chords.
