New York based producer Codes has laced Rudimental’s “Free” with fiery kick drums and a tight low end, engulfing it with his signature Brooklyn bounce style. Successfully balancing an aggressive bassline with Emeli Sande’s vocals, Codes uses steely drum beats and buoyant synths to make the track his own. The talented producer has spent over a decade behind the decks across the country, while releasing popular remixes for A-Trak, Breach, and Cerrone, and is now working on an upcoming EP to be released on Slow Roast Records.
