Insomniac and Interscope Geffen A&M launch new label, Insomniac Records

Insomniac’s CEO/founder Pasquale Rotella has joined forces with Interscope Geffen A&M to create a new dance music label, Insomniac Records. Interscope’s sterling track record is responsible for innumerable blockbuster hits while Insomniac brings over two decades of experience producing some of the biggest dance music festivals on the planet.

“We formed Insomniac Records because we saw the need for a label that fosters the unique talents of dance music artists while also giving them a powerful platform to share their music with fans around the world,” said Rotella. “The Interscope team has an unparalleled track record of success and I believe that with our combined efforts, Insomniac Records will launch the careers of undiscovered artists while also attracting established producers, allowing them to create music that the fans will love.”

Rotella will be heading up the label on Insomniac’s side, it is rumored that Interscope A&R Neil Jacobson will be managing the relationship on behalf of Interscope. This announcement makes Insomniac Records the first ever EDM label for Interscope and DJ/producer Arty will become the first artist signed with a new album in tow.  The producer recently posted a teaser of his upcoming single “Up All Night” which will be the first single released on Insomniac Records.
