Shermanology, John Christian & Oliver Rosa – Pinball (Original Mix)
Shermanology returns to home label Wall Recordings with a heavy dose of electro, joined by homegrown support from Protocol notable John Christian and EDM newcomer Oliver Rosa. The collective Dutch quintet incorporates bold and wobbly lead melodies and distorted, acid-inspired synths intended for those who prefer their music loud. Though Shermanology’s defining “Can’t Stop Me” vocalists don’t seem to surface in this record, the track’s hectic, adrenaline-pumping style appropriately resembles the frenzy induced by a game of its namesake arcade game. Out now, “Pinball” not only displays the continual compatibility of Dutch dance artists, but also the possible emergence of a young, unfamiliar talent.
