Skrillex offers five more ‘Skrillex Selects’ on new Soundcloud page
Last week, OWSLA commander-in-chief Skrillex dropped a short five-track playlist pushing his five favorite tracks at the moment. With a nod to Banks, label mate MUST DIE!, Justin Martin and others, Sonny took the opportunity to give fans a little insight as to what the world-famous producer was currently bumping to, and now this week, he is giving us five more.
In commendable fashion, Skrillex isn’t using this new Soundcloud page to promote his label exclusively, OWSLA seems to be doing just fine with that. Rather, the “Skrillex Selects” Soundcloud page is offering five more track selections that are solely based on taste. And by the undoubtable success of OWSLA’s commanding roster, it is safe to consider Skrillex as one of the industry’s premier taste makers.
Sonny’s newest picks all fall into bass-heavy genres, with gritty trap and hip-hop on this week’s installment. Gent and Jawns‘ “Kings,” as well as “Lawnmower” by Aryay lead the way, along with another handful of 808-laced productions. Check out the newest “Skrillex Selects” below and enjoy.
