As Gary Richards gears up for HARD Day of the Dead at the tail end of October, he dons his production moniker Destructo to set the tone for the highly anticipated festival. Following up “Party Up,” with a collaborative effort alongside LA rap talent Problem dubbed “Dare You 2 Move,” Richards scores a sinister balance between g-house beat work and deep house bass lines. Gritty garage elements mesh perfectly with Problem’s silky smooth flow making it impossible not to fall victim to the track title’s ominous demands.
Destructo’s new EP West Coast will be available on November 24th.
