‘Don’t Leave’ by Seven Lions just isn’t one of those tracks you get tired of, regardless how many times you hear it on the radio. It’s also one of those tunes that is so good in its original form that it makes you apprehensive to listen to any remixes of it. However, when someone like Tiesto takes on remix duties, the result merits at least one play. In this case the Dutch music veteran, who partnered up with his Musical Freedom proteges Twoloud, hits all the right notes. Their remix of ‘Don’t Leave’ is a big-room fantasy: massive, over-arching synths, climatic builds and a sweeping sound that surrounds Ellie Goulding‘s bittersweet vocals and makes them all the more enchanting.
