Aspen’s Winter X Games took steps to amplifying the volume on its action last year with Tiësto and Axwell on board, and 2015 will see more of the same.

Slated to headline this season’s X Games music festival, Skrillex and Chromeo have been announced and will join Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa as marquee performers. The pair of DJs atop the bill will bring the bulky and the funky to the base of Buttermilk Mountain, where X Games looks to match sporting and music intensity early next year.

On the event’s live music facet, to span January 23-25, X Games vice president Tim Reed says;

“The goal is to help create more of a festival atmosphere around the sports. I think it’s also really exciting to be able to pop over and take in some great live music during the breaks. It creates a really good vibe on the mountain, especially with a great mix of talent like we have here between Snoop and Wiz, Skrillex and Chromeo.”
