Debuting for the first time this year, MK, Lee Foss, and singer Anabel Englund have united and donned the alias Pleasure State. For their first release on the juggernaut imprint Hot Creations, “Electricity” has been remixed by techno pioneer Carl Craig. The Detroit-born producer stretches out the original mix into a 12-minute techno adventure, as the reinvention plows from start to finish with a heavy-set kick and industrial elements. As one of the founding fathers of Detroit’s techno scene, a fresh, new remix from Carl Craig is a welcome sight as he gets ready for a new album in 2015.
