Primary Wave Music teams up with Intellectual Artists Management
NY and LA-based music marketing, publishing and talent management company Primary Wave — whose clientele includes Audien, Blue October and Sigma — is continuing to evolve. Yesterday, the company announced that it has merged its talent management branch with that of Intellectual Artists Management: a talent and literary management, media and content production company. Primary Wave’s move toward strengthening its talent management division arrives shortly after acquiring Evolution Management in November 2014.
As Primary Wave diverges from its initial, musically-driven identity and transitions into the broader entertainment spectrum, its combined management roster with Intellectual Artists management will comprise CeeLo Green, Melissa Etheridge, Bobby Moresco, Natalie Imbruglia and many others. The company will also take on a new name as Primary Wave Entertainment.
Moving forward, Primary Wave Entertainment will be manned by Larry Mestel, CEO/founder of Primary Wave Music, and David Guillod, CEO/founder of Intellectual Artists Management, with Evolution CEO/founder Mark Burg acting as Vice Chairman.
