Brandon Flowers to release solo album ‘The Desired Effect’


Five years after making his solo debut, Brandon Flowers is set to release his sophomore album, The Desired Effect, on May 18. Flowers announced the record via a letter posted on his website. The album was made in collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Ariel Rechtshaid, who dance music fans will remember for his work with Diplo on Usher’s hit song “Climax.” Rechtshaid has also worked with artists including Beyoncé, Calvin Harris, Sky Ferreira, HAIM, Charli XCX, Vampire Weekend, and more.
