DA Premiere: Boaz Van De Beatz ft. Ronnie Flex & Mr. Polska – Partymad (Original Mix)
At the age of 26, Dutch DJ and producer Boaz van de Beatz is the proud owner of Nouveau Riche Music, and already has shared studio time with an impressive roster of artists including Diplo, Yellow Claw, Major Lazer and The Partysquad. Currently a member of both the Mad Decent and Wall (Afrojack’s label) teams, van de Beatz arguably made his mark with “Crown,” a collaboration with Diplo and Mike Posner that landed on the former’s Revolution EP.
Boaz communicates in his latest effort, “Partymad,” that he “don’t wanna be a gangsta”; he “just wants to hit the strip club.” Featuring Ronnie Flex and Mr. Polska, “Partymad” serves as one-fifth of van de Beatz’s forthcoming EP, Horse Force!, to be released on March 3rd. Hardstyle aesthetics intermingle with hints of reggae and a percussive buildup that, by the 40-second mark, unleashes an explosive burst of 808s and echoing basslines signature to any Mad Decent release.
