Electric Forest sells out 24 hours after lineup announcement
Insomniac’s Michigan venture Electric Forest created a palpable buzz on the internet just a few days ago when it released its full lineup with a number of impressive artists at the reigns. The String Cheese Incident and Bassnectar top the roster as Electric Forest favorites, but most were truly excited by the reappearance of Skrillex, who hasn’t played at the festival since 2011. Flume, Kaskade, and Big Gigantic were just a few more names on the extensive list also announced.
In less than 24 hours following the announcement, Electric Forest tickets were cleaned out completely. The Rothbury festival sold out 3 1/2 months earlier than ever before, marking a record-breaking sellout in its five year history.
