The final track on deadmau5’s while(1<2), “Seeya” alongside vocalist Colleen D’Agostino has just been certified platinum in Canada. The duo have been in the news recently for their second collaborative effort, “Stay,” off D’Agostino’s Mau5trap-supported 6-track EP. The sales bump that nudged the track into platinum territory is likely due to the pair’s performance at this year’s JUNO awards, where they performed “Seeya” live. Deadmau5 was casual as usual when announcing the news via Twitter earlier today. His most recent accreditation accompanies the platinum status of 2010’s album 4×4=12.
