Hook N Sling joins Insomniac/Interscope’s growing roster
Australian progressive house virtuoso, Hook N Sling, has joined the Insomniac/Interscope Records family as the imprint’s third signee with the announcement of his first single, “Break Yourself,” featuring hip-hop quartet Far East Movement. Diverting from his recognizable uplifting melodies, Hook N Sling decides to experiment with the evolving genre of G-house for his first Insomniac release. Far East Movement take over the vocal treatment laying down their willowy lyrics to complement the bass-driven instrumental. With Arty, Destructo, and now Hook N Sling representing the his label’s first roster of talent, Pasquale Rotella continually demonstrates the brand’s distinguished reputation, and fans can only expect to see more paramount talent added to the label’s roster as it continues to develop. “Break Yourself” will be released in full on March 23, but fans can check out the official teaser trailer above to get a taste of Hook N Sling’s revamped sound.
