Jack Ü’s album debuts at No. 1 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums
According to Nielsen Music, Jack Ü‘s debut album sold 14,000 copies the first week it was on iTunes. That start launched the pair to the top of Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, ahead of artists like Robin Schulz, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, and Above & Beyond. Marking Skrillex’s third No. 1 on the chart, his collaborative project with Diplo has also buoyed the producer to a record number of originals on the Dance/Electronic Songs chart at eighteen. The album brought along originals alongside Justin Beiber and 2Chainz, which each sold 20,000 and 4,000 copies, respectively.
