Klangkarussell revamp debut single as ‘Sun Don’t Shine’ with new vocalist and upcoming Astralwerks release
Austrian house duo Klangkarussell are preparing to show an ace up their sleeve. The Falls Like Rain producers are gearing up to re-release their debut single “Sonnentanz,” although amplifying their lead off material with some keen additions to come. Klangkarussell offer a snippet of the forthcoming reissue — although this time, they enlist the help of a new vocalist for the track as Jaymes Young replaces Will Heard for the crooning lyrical additions. The revisited version will also go by a new name: “Sun Don’t Shine.”
The shift could be a strategic move to bolster the tune’s already notable success, only this time enlisting an emerging American recording artist to garner new support in the American dance music market. After dominating Germany and the UK’s charts with the original mix, Klangkarussell’s funky nu-jazz single will be coming back soon as “Sun Don’t Shine” is en route via Astralwerks.
