BT – Loving You More (Yousef Circus Edit)
Long before the Soundcloud bootleg culture had fully found its feet, it was the dance floor where artists threw down vivid re-interpretations in a ‘sink-or-swim’ manner. It’s a concept that UK staple and Circus ringleader Yousef has not forgotten within his long and winding career, still turning heads and throwing things back to a simpler time for the genre whenever possible.
As unleashed during his Warehouse Project set last October, a cheeky re-edit of ‘Loving You More’ sees the Liverpool legend take the progressive out of BT and transport the arguably timeless record into his own house orientated remit. There’s an old school jack and a sense of high-octane club play that pervades this cheeky remake, one that echoes Yousef’s ability to hold rooms of any size with solid programming and scintillating tunes. Here’s to the UK legends still letting the music do all the talking.
