OWSLA‘s newest adopted talent to their bass-addicted family is an Australian duo by the name of Carmada. Comprised of L D R U and Yahtzel, Carmada had their first release on OWSLA with their Realise EP, which included their spine-tingling single “Maybe.” A year later, the duo unveil the first remix off the forthcoming remix package for “Realize” coming from two of Australia’s quickly rising trap talents, Elk Road and Slumberjack.
Disclaimer: This remix is a vicious trap monster that is not intended to serve as a pick-me-up in any sense of the word. Adding blaring horns and warped percussion jabs to Carmada’s original roaring drop, Elk Road and Slumberjack manage to seamlessly integrate their personal stylings as they drag listeners into a formidable realm of violent future beats. The rest of the remix package will be released on April 16th with Dr. Fresch, Fred V & Grafix, the Pegboard Nerds, Jesse Slayter, Trollphace & JuJu, and Getter earning the six other coveted remix spots.
