California-based DJ and producer Candyland is known for doing things big. Her latest release, “Murda,” lives up to its name and brings more than a good dose of intensity in true Candyland fashion. Unmistakably designed for big rooms and peak hour time slots, it’s the kind of track artists reach for when they want to give the crowd a little shock value treatment. A hard-hitting hybrid of trap and electro house, “Murda” barrels along on a bass line that’s all about power and brawn. Hip hop vocals bring her signature urban “OG touch” to the track. “Murda” is scheduled for release May 19 via 12th Planet‘s Smog Records.
