Flux Pavilion returns with classic sound on ‘International Anthem’

Flux Pavilion‘s latest puts the dub in dubstep. As the UK bass figurehead gears up to drop his debut full-length record later this year, Flux Pavilion has linked up with veteran London-based MC Doctor for his latest cut, a rousing dubstep piece called “International Anthem.” Playing on the classic array of heavy-handed sounds that Flux Pavilion has undoubtedly made his own, this new collaboration not only begins to raise the anticipation for the upcoming album due later this year, but also reintroduces Flux with a deafening blow. Aligning himself with a more than familiar style, Flux Pavilion’s “International Anthem” is pounding dubstep goodness, delivering some of his best work since “Gold Dust.”

The track relies on swelling waves of bass with growling synth layers, accompanied by Doctor’s lyrical additions. The tune rounds together the quintessential dub sound that is unfortunately lost in most other dubstep productions, as Flux Pavilion makes the classic seem new on “International Anthem.” Listen to Flux’s latest via Circus Records, and keep your eyes and ears peeled for the forthcoming record in late 2015.
