Robokid, AObeats & Manila Killa – Helix 2.0 (Feat. Blaise Railey)

Just over a year ago, internet collective Moving Castle lead a musical initiative to create a community of like-minded individuals who would release their productions together. The founders — Manila Killa, AOBeats, and Robokid — have all seen success in both developing their brainchild group and their own individual careers. In celebration of passing their one year mark of Moving Castle, the trio have banded together to resurrect a previous Robokid original to create “Helix 2.0,” featuring emerging rap talent Blaise Railey.

With “Helix 2.0,” the three producers take advantage of the collective’s first official release to demonstrate their future ethos’s underlying commercial appeal. With Blaise Railey’s spitting lyrics finding their way onto the center stage, the Moving Castle masons morph the track’s electronic makeup into a cheery hip-hop/dance hybrid, chock-full of the lively tones they have been known for.
