Listen to ZHU’s collaboration with Gallant, ‘Testarossa Music’
As Zhu fans patiently await for more details on his Genesis Project, the producer is teasing a strong followup to his debut EP, The Nightday.
Last week we heard “As Crazy As It Is,” his collaboration with Keznamdi on vocals and A-Trak on scratching, and today we’re surprised with “Testarossa Music.” Featuring vocals from fellow Mind of a Genius affiliate Gallant, “Testarossa Music” draws from trip-hop influences with funk-driven bass and hypnotic keys, yet retains Zhu’s hazy production style. Listen to it above.
If the release of “Testarossa Music” follows suit of the project’s previous releases, then fans, especially those signed up for Zhu’s GenerationWhy.com mailing list, can anticipate a full stream very soon. Until then, keep “Testarossa Music” on repeat, or treat your ears to the full stream of last week’s “As Crazy As It Is.”
