Insomniac unveils EDC tickets ahead of Nevada’s live entertainment tax on October 1, 2015

In June, it was revealed that Las Vegas would soon be subject to a new Nevada tax law that would impose a 9% tax on all live entertainment events. By definition, legislators have outlined “entertainment” to be a performance of any kind, including “the playing of recorded music, the mixing of audio or the adding of sound, video and lighting effects by a person or group of person to a patron or group of patrons.” The new regulations – a series of improvements to the 20004 LET formula – will officially be promulgated on October 1, 2015.

As such, Insomniac urges fans who plan on attending next year’s Electric Daisy Carnival to secure their tickets before October 1st. Tickets will go on sale Monday, September 21 at Noon PT, with Early Owl three-day passes available for $335 plus fees. Click here to learn more about tickets.
