Rusty Hook – Drip

Introduced by a delicate, music box melody, “Drip” doesn’t give listeners much lead time to settle into the track before Rusty Hook goes all in. Jumping feet first into a belligerent, glitchy bass progression, the French craftsmen presents a clear cut example of organized chaos. Presenting a distinct contrast of dripping background notes and flogging bass chords, Rusty Hook sporadically oscillates between an ensemble of synths and percussion that play off each other in complete harmony to create a gentle yet robust original.
