Kerri Chandler’s MadTech imprint has carved an impressive legacy of both established and emerging talent since its inception back in 2012. Having first shown his face on the label’s seasonal Ibiza instalment back in May, London staple Alexis Raphael adds to the label’s A-game run of talent with an inaugural EP offering this month. Dreamy leads and piercing beats hold centre court for ‘Chicken,’ a melodic tech house spinner that taps into the more eclectic stand Raphael has taken on the sound to date. It’s been a good year to date, but if Alexis Raphael’s first stand is anything to go by, the future can only sound brighter.
