Among a long list of industry-defining original mixes, Axwell‘s “I Found U” arrived in 2007 and peaked at number six on the UK Singles chart. Five different versions of the original formed the first release package and now, almost ten years after it first exploded into the electronic music world, “I Found U” has been revamped. Calling upon the talents of Brighton-based upstart Fono and Danny Howard to premiere the track on BBC Radio 1, Axtone’s impending release is permeated with danceable grooves among the classic’s vocal-laden touch. An impressive re-invention from an artist who’s already officially remixed “Lean On,” Fono has added to his growing resume with yet another version of a critically-acclaimed original mix.
