Justin Bieber joins The Chainsmokers in Los Angeles for surprise performance

Justin Bieber has sealed his comeback with his fourth studio album, Purpose. When the Canadian pop icon first linked with Jack Ü on their debut release, many fans were left scratching their heads. But in the span of less than a year, the now-platinum collaboration was awarded an AMA and ultimately introduced Justin Bieber to a new, older audience with a strong new record in tow. “Where Are Ü Now” was just the beginning, but Justin Bieber and dance music have proven to be quite the matrimony. Despite recently canceling marquee appearances, Bieber popped up in Los Angeles at the Shrine Auditorium to help celebrate the new album with the help of The Chainsmokers.

The “Selfie” proponents invited Justin on stage to perform his inescapable Skrillex-assisted “Sorry,” as well as swap some mutual love with the duo. With a huge New Years Eve show planned at Pier 94 and a surprise appearance by Justin Bieber in LA, maybe fans will get a little more than they bargained for at The Chainsmokers’ next big event.
