For his formal EP debut on the label this month, the fruitful Frenchman turns up the heat in a big way with the follow-up to his recent instalment for Audio Rehab. Dropping alongside Room303, ‘Marilyn Monroe’ shows a sophisticated and reassuringly stripped back take on Baresko’s already reliable sound. With enough attitude to hold court with CUFF’s now global hold on the sound, ‘Marilyn Monroe’ is evidence that Tim Baresko is ready to hold the crowds on his own terms for 2016.
