A-Trak & Zoofunktion – Place On Earth (Radio Edit)
A-Trak returned to Spinnin’ after his April release of “Ibanez,” this time with Panda Funk resident Zoofunktion in toe. Together, they created “Place On Earth,” a safe number normative to the mega-label. It starts off as an unassuming piano house ballad, filled with soulful vocals that light up the track. The drop is unusual, a collection of wonky synths and a resounding kick that make it an intriguing combination of moombahton and big room. Admittedly, the build up and drop don’t make a terribly cohesive combination, yet they end up working well together and display some of the ballsy technique we know A-Trak is capable of.
“Place On Earth” will be available through Beatport on December 7th.
