Having last invited MORTEN to their ranks for 2013’s ‘Look Closer,’ the Danish producer prepares to return for the New Year with ‘Beautiful Heartbeat,’ the Frida Sundemo-accompanied follow-up to recent Monstercat single ‘Stickup’ alongside Juliette Lewis. Keeping the original very much under wraps, North American newcomers Nine Lives are out to set the tone for this mutual landmark ahead of its January release.
The act’s coordinated trap take utilizes what sounds like a marker vocal performance, giving early indicators that the single might well be one of MORTEN’s biggest to date.
