Baauer shares official album details and premieres new single on The Late Show

Harry Rodrigues, better known as Baauer, is on the cusp of a monumental milestone in his career. As each day inches closer to the debut of his introductory full-length studio project, anticipation for the album grows. For months, details surrounding the record were few and far between at best, although the collection did promise to plant Baauer firmly at the crest of trap music. Now, following a performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Rodrigues is finally ready to officially set Baauer’s comeback into motion behind a 13-track collection called Aa.

The record, although solely produced by Baauer, proves to be a highly collaborative project, with the track list including features from the likes of Rustie, M.I.A., Future, G-Dragon, and Pusha T among others. For the Late Show spot, Baauer chose to bring on one of the album’s lesser known contributors, Leikeli47, to perform “Day Ones,” giving fans their first real taste from what we now know to be Aa.

Pre-orders for Aa begin on January 28, with previously released “Go!Go!” and “Day Ones” given away as instant grats with the record’s advanced purchase. The record will land March 18 via Baauer’s longtime home label LuckyMe. Based on a brief preview listen via The Late Show, March 18 could very well be a memorable pivot in the young trap producer’s already illustrious career.
