Major Lazer, Hot Chip top Bestival’s 2016 lineup

Major Lazer, Hot Chip, and The Cure top Bestival’s first wave of artists scheduled to perform at the annual Isle of Wight festival. In addition, Animal Collective, Eats Everything, Danny Byrd, Richie Hawtin, TS5 and Skream are slated to make appearances.

As is commonplace, Bestival has also exposed this year’s theme: ‘the future. ‘A stark shift from last year’s “Summer of Love” motif, attendees are encouraged to play the part and come prepared for a futuristic voyage. As Rob da Bank remarks, “Prepare yourselves for a Bestival unlike any other with futuristic new stages, and as ever it’s a broad church of music from every decade and every genre.”
