Deadmau5 reveals more new music with two ambient clips

It’s an exciting time to be a Deadmau5 fan. As Joel Zimmerman prepares to launch his “Project Entropy” — a new concept that will unfold as a series of ‘360’ arena shows — he has been hard at work producing brand new music that will surely translate beautifully into the tour settings.

As he has done in the past, the Canadian legend has kept fans updated on his creative process through his SoundCloud, releasing tantalizingly short clips that hint at the artistic direction he’s taking. “00001” and “00002” were the first previews to pop up on his page, employing an eclectic array of dissonant echoes and synth melodies into their 2-minute slots.

Now Deadmau5 has unleashed two more cuts on his SoundCloud that keep up with the ambient trend he’s set up thus far. “ent_Nope_clk_thme” plays around with euphoric vocal samples gracing the background with tingly chords played out in an relaxing setting. Meanwhile, “ent_open_Alice_02” takes on a suspenseful tone, utilizing various sound effects to create a creepy atmosphere that leaves the listener curious as to what will happen next.

Most details surrounding Project Entropy have yet to be announced, but with consistent uploads of new music clips, we’re excited to see what Zimmerman will come up with next in the near future.
