Late Night Alumni – Joan of Arc (Morgan Page remix)

It’s a talented producer that can completely change the tone of a track and still manage to knock it out of the ball park. U.S. producer Morgan Page has proven time and again that he’s no rookie in the realm of remixing. In his recent rendition of Late Night Alumni’s “Joan of Arc,” fans will find none of that light, airy fragility that’s come to characterize all things LNA. Rather, Page’s take on the track goes down a much edgier path, blending the best of both his indie flare and progressive house prowess.

In a nutshell, this remix kicks hard and satisfies on multiple levels, upping the energy of the original but preserving all of its discerning qualities (breathy vocals, haunting melodies, etc). Fueled by booming synthesizers and an intense four-on-the-floor beat, it’s a peak hours weapon that muscles across hard-hitting drops and fast-paced build-ups.
