LIOHN X Jack Ü X Ember Island – Where Are Ü Now
Swedish newcomer LIOHN first hit the radar courtesy of a top shelf remix for Galantis back in December, but has taken to 2016 with some more creative strings to pull than just high profile remixers. Evidently not shy of donning his hand to the genre’s popular crossover points, Ember Island’s renowned take on ‘Where Are Ü Now’ is the inspiration point for the next instalment from this anonymous yet promising emerging talent. Ember Island’s signature replicated vocals already stood tall, but LIOHN lays beats that get under the skin whilst charging a fresh melodic veil over the unmistakable pop record. It’s not like we weren’t spoilt for unofficial remixes of the track first time around, but LIOHN hones his sound and truly owns the task for his latest online exploit.
