Moderat is a Berlin supergroup in every sense of the phrase. The collaboration brings together two of the city’s finest electronic acts: Modeselektor and Apparat. The trio first formed in early 2000s, but didn’t release their first album until 2009 with their self-titled debut on BPitch Control. The group truly took off with their critically-acclaimed sophomore effort, II, in 2013, which featured the anthemic single, “Bad Kingdom.”

Now, Moderat have announced the final piece in their album trilogy with III. Slated for release on Monkeytown Records on April 1, the new album will feature nine new originals.

In addition to the new album, Moderat will be hitting the road for a world tour over the coming months, visiting everywhere from St. John of Hackney in London, to the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles.
