Radiohead confirms first live performances in four years

2016 is undeniably the year of the comeback, bookended by the triumphant returns of Justice, LCD Soundsystem, and now Radiohead. Thom Yorke’s iconic rock troupe has been confirmed to headline several European festivals including Primavera Sound, OpenAir, and Nos Alive, marking their first live shows since 2012.

In October, guitarist Johnny Greenwood revealed that the group had finished recording their new album, and that they would soon “start planning the next year’s tour.” Two months later, Radiohead made public their formerly unreleased James Bond theme song, “Spectre.”

In addition to traversing Europe, the English prog-rockers are also expected to make stateside appearances later this summer in advance of their 9th studio album.
