DA Premiere: NGHTMRE’s ‘Street’ gets HeRobust’s BUSTED treatment [Free Download]
When NGHTMRE first launched “Street” with the help of Mad Decent, the track dominated sets across a slew of genres, becoming a staple at festivals and live performances alike. As a result, there were more than a few artists that tried their hands at remixes — most of them, consequently, paled in comparison to NGHTMRE’s monstrous original work.
However, when HeRobust announced he had crafted a remix of the work, the trap community was set aflame with excitement. Originally created with the purpose of remaining a live-show exclusive, HeRobust was persuaded by fans and the Mad Decent label alike to officially release the remix.
HeRobust’s rework of “Street” is unsurprisingly rugged and mean, with impressive synth and percussive work to boot. Cutting the vocal sample short from the original to replace it with a sudden bass hit, the artist contrasts the mellow build with a drop that has been setting crowds off across the world. Judging by his newest cut and his I’m Aloud EP released with Mad Decent, HeRobust looks to make a massive splash in 2016.
