Deadmau5 joins label on new Mau5hax tour; builds state-of-the-art studio on bus

Earlier this month, Mau5trap announced their brand new Mau5hax bus tour: an 11-date performance spree hitting everywhere from Montreal to Miami in the coming weeks. One detail, however, remained shrouded in mystery: would label boss Deadmau5 be joining in on the fun?

After the first stop in Toronto, Mau5trap has officially confirmed Joel Zimmerman’s inclusion: “the special gue5t?? confirming our boss deadmau5 from toronto to philly,” Mau5trap wrote on Twitter. It’s unclear at this time whether Zimmerman will join the tour for the rest of the dates, which includes stops at Opera in Atlanta and Treehouse in Miami.

The first show at Uniun also confirmed some other exciting details. The tour will feature a mix of exciting B2B action. The Toronto show, for instance, featured Deadmau5 performing B2B with ATTLAS.

Secondly, the mau5trap team has built a state-of-the-art studio on the bus, and they’ll be working on music together throughout the tour. It’s an exciting prospect, especially given the fact that Mau5hax will feature the likes of Steve Duda, Matt Lange, Rezz, and Deadmau5 together.

Tickets and official tour dates for the Mau5hax bus tour can be found here.
