Dixon has provided the soundtrack for Givenchy’s Paris runway show
Over the past couple of years, the worlds of dance music and fashion have increasingly collaborated more closely. Steve Angello, for instance, partnered with EN|NOIR, Cashmere Cat collaborated with Kanye West for his Adidas x Yeezy fashion show, and Givenchy tapped The Martinez Brothers for their 2014 and 2015 showcases.
Now German underground staple Dixon has earned the honor of providing the exclusive soundtrack for Givenchy’s newest, trend-setting designs from Riccardo Tisci for the 2016/2017 Fall and Winter lines at Paris Fashion Week. The 11-minute mix features Dixon’s uncanny affinity for haunting arrangements and space-aged moods that complements Tisci’s work flawlessly, amplifying the show’s vogue atmosphere.
