Brazil may have found the future of nightclub lighting.
Located in Sao Paolo, Brazil, The Year is a newly renovated warehouse-turned-nightclub with an LED lighting system that uses a reactive sensor on the ceiling to detect room temperature and the crowd’s movements. The sensor then renders this information and reflects the various stimuli through unique light patterns. The system was developed by Brazilian architect Guto Requena.
