Insomniac reveals official trailer for EDC New York 2016

It wouldn’t be an Insomniac event without an official trailer to stir up anticipation and ready fans for what’s to come. As the New York edition of Electric Daisy Carnival swiftly approaches, Insomniac has released a trailer for the event that doubles as a rather farfetched, albeit interesting, narrative for one fan’s journey to EDC New York.

Commencing as the main character undergoes a vision test, it is quickly revealed that she’s unable to see anything other than the letters E-D-C-N-Y. As the perplexed optometrist tries to uncover what’s going on, Eric Prydz’ “Opus” kicks in and visions of the technicolor, laser-filled past EDC’s fill the screen. As Insomniac so fittingly quips in the video description:
