The beauty behind &ME‘s music lies in its sublimely understated nature. Widely considered a master of the arpeggiator, the latest offering from the Berlin-based producer sees that this skill is displayed front and center. “Shadows” is a nearly 12-minute melodic journey that snakes its way through refined, vocal heavy lulls and demanding, at times frantically arranged, rhythms. Dwayzo Lawrence’s chilling vocals matched against the scattered, trickling piano chords give off an air that is compelling and eerie, yet relatively relaxed at the same time.

“Shadows” will be released via Saved Records on April 1.
