Thom Yorke collaborates with Mark Pritchard on ‘Beautiful People’

As the hype surrounding Radiohead’s triumphant return continues to swell, Thom Yorke has unearthed his first vocal performance since Radiohead’s unreleased Spectre track. The alt-rock icon has contributed vocals to Mark Pritchard’s new single, “Beautiful People.”

Pritchard constructs an illusory instrumental of gentle chords, fluttering flute melodies, and airy drum lines that supply the ideal bedrock for Yorke to complement with the sedative nature of his lyrical talent. This isn’t the first time Yorke has lent his voice to big electronic compositions, previously providing toplines for the likes of Flying Lotus and Four Tet for instance.

“Beautiful People” is a single off Pritchard’s new album, Under The Sun, and is set for release on May 13 via Warp Records.
