Alesia releases new grungy original “Call Of War” following Soundcloud deletion

Although there have been a number of Point Point releases in the past few months, things have been relatively quiet on the Alesia front with regards to the Parisian DJ and production team of Nicolas Petitfrere and Lemuel Dufez. Less than ten days after they announced on April 16 via Facebook that the Alesia Soundcloud account had been removed, they are officially back with a massive, distinctly-Alesia-yet-so-much-more single, “Call Of War.”

Melding their signature edgy, grungy synth-style into what will go down as one of the most groundbreaking efforts thus far, “Call Of War” successfully captures the authenticity of decades-old genres of rock, such as britpop of the 90s or even older, in a modern production masterpiece. It is no small task to wield classic production techniques, which is most noticeable on the vocals, to recreate the “old” sound without it becoming muddy like much of the music of that age. However, Alesia prove their creative and technical prowess with their latest electro-rock hybrid, giving eager fans even more reason to look forward to what’s to come. Read More:
